Mayfair W1
95 establishments listed
Mayfair holds 3 of London's three-Michelin-star restaurants in 2026: Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, Hélène Darroze at The Connaught and Sketch's Lecture Room and Library, according to the Michelin Guide's London list of 9 February 2026. The rest of the district runs from Shepherd Market bistros to Park Lane hotel dining rooms, all inside a few streets of W1.
On the Michelin Guide's 2026 list, Mayfair has 3 three-star rooms, 3 two-star rooms and a dozen with one star. Two stars: Gymkhana on Albemarle Street, Bonheur by Matt Abé and Row on 5. One star, among others: Benares on Berkeley Square, HIDE on Piccadilly, Jamavar on Mount Street, Sabor on Heddon Street, Veeraswamy, Umu, Murano, Ormer Mayfair and Pavyllon.
Le Gavroche, once the first restaurant in Britain with three stars, closed on Upper Brook Street in January 2024 and no longer appears in the guide.
Dining in Mayfair clusters on a handful of streets, which makes it easy to choose on the spot:
Indian cooking is Mayfair's strongest suit in the guide, with Gymkhana, Jamavar, Benares and Veeraswamy all starred in 2026. For Japanese, Nobu Old Park Lane, ROKA on North Audley Street and Sexy Fish on Berkeley Square are the best-known names. Seafood means Scott's on Mount Street, Bentley's on Swallow Street and FishWorks. Italian runs from Cecconi's on Burlington Gardens to Bocconcino, and Chinese from Hakkasan to China Tang at The Dorchester and Park Chinois. For steak, 34 Mayfair and Gaucho are the established names.
Most Mayfair menus already include VAT, and the service charge is added on top. On the venue pages we read on 31 October 2026 it ranged from 12.5% to 15%: 12.5% at The May Fair Hotel, 14.5% at Novikov and Sexy Fish, 15% at Amazónico. It is discretionary, so it can be removed if the service fell short.
For the starred rooms, book through the restaurant's own site, where cancellation and deposit terms are set out. Each listing on this page gives the restaurant's address, phone number and website.
