See the Christmas Lights in Mayfair

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without the twinkle of festive fairy lights, and here in Mayfair, there’s a whole range of sparkling displays for you to see this December.

The biggest and brightest light collections in Europe

One of the biggest and brightest collections in the area is on the residential and retail-based road of Mount Street. Where the colourful lights and lanterns are threaded through tree branches all along the avenue. Television personality Carol Vorderman paid a visit to Mount Street to flip the switch on 22nd November.  They will be sparkling throughout the festive season.

A late-night shopping event.

The canopy style Christmas lights in nearby Bond Street are also ready for action. Having been turned on by Gareth Malone and the Military Wives Choir. During a late-night shopping event in late November as well. If you venture a little further outside of Mayfair, you can also see the controversial Marmite Christmas lights. That has been hung over Oxford Street, and decide whether you love them or hate them for yourself.

An impressive mile-long display

This year’s Regent Street Christmas lights were switched on by 40 of Team GB’s athletes. A comprises of an impressive mile long display decorated with gold holly and red berry garlands. Even more Christmas lights can be found on South Molton Street, Brook Street and Avery Row. So why not pay a trip to Mayfair and soak up some seasonal sparkle for yourself?
