Wine and dine your partner in Mayfair

The opportunity to wine and dine with the one you love is there all year round! You can rekindle the romance over drinks, dinner or even afternoon tea in leafy Mayfair. Here are some of our favourite ideas for a romantic meal in our favourite part of London:

Hotel-dining at Corrigan’s.

Corrigan’s in Mayfair is offering cheaper alternatives to their £1,500 dining and hotel package this February. Dine-in Chef Richard Corrigan’s personal library and once you’re fully fed, retire to the Grosvenor House Hotel’s executive suite, where you’ll be spoiled with a champagne reception followed by a leisurely breakfast in bed and late check-out the next morning. Perfect!

Shampers Winebar & Restaurant

Shampers restaurant opened in 1977 and has attracted clients with its fantastic variety of wines, the bulk of which are created by small manufacturers. Shampers Wine Bar & Restaurant has an iconic wine list that displays their unique collection of Red and White wines and champagnes from nations and locations all over the globe and unusual pudding wines and Whiskies to suit every palate.

Shampers works with suppliers whose wines are produced in the most natural form, as they believe that both wine and food sourced and created in the most natural form have the best flavour. The quality of the wine and food produced at Shampers is why we have included Shampers as one of the Best Wine Bars in Mayfair.

Tea-Tox at Brown’s Hotel.

It’s still the time of year when we’re all trying valiantly to stick to our New Year’s resolutions, so help her to keep hers in check by taking her for a lighter (yet still utterly delicious) version of traditional afternoon tea at Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair. You’ll be spoiled with flour-less cakes, poached salmon and of course champagne.

The Remedy

The Remedy is a wine bar with a twist. Instead of partnering with mass-market wineries, The Remedy positions itself as a “quality concerned” company that sources its wines from small suppliers. The Remedy is located on Cleveland Street and promotes a relaxed, cosy atmosphere. Presenting their customers with a weekly updated wine list of rare, fine wines manufactured by small producers that are unlikely to be available for purchase elsewhere, which is why we have branded The Remedy as one of the Best Wine Bars in Mayfair.
