The spas and health clubs of Mayfair divide into two kinds. There are the hotel spas along Park Lane, open to non-residents and built to a scale that few standalone operators could justify, and there are the private clubs where membership is capped and the gym floor is never crowded. Facilities typically extend well beyond treatment rooms: hydrotherapy pools, thermal suites, personal training, physiotherapy and nutrition.
