Givenchy

Design, Artistry and Craftsmanship

Givenchy flagship shop is established in London’s prestigious area of Mayfair. The business is situated at 165 New Bond Street, and it is housed in two 18th century buildings as well as a nearby Victorian-era property at 23 Albemarle Street. It carries the upscale label’s apparel, jewellery, and menswear styles. Various shop entrances link to different portions of the store, which has kept its original historical elements while including some subtle contemporary touches.

Hubert James Taffin de Givenchy, born in 1927, created his eponymous House in 1952. The next year, he unveiled a collection that would leave an indelible impression on fashion history:

Givenchy will begin a new chapter in its history in June 2020 with the appointment of Matthew M. Williams as Creative Director of women’s and men’s collections. Mr Williams, a self-taught designer, brings to the House a devotion to workmanship and attention to detail, as well as an instinctive grasp of tailoring, technology, and fashion integrity.
