The elegant Apsley House is steeped in history.  Robert Adam’s brick design for Apsley House was built 1771-78 as the home of Baron Apsley, Earl of Bathurst. The restored Georgian mansion was once upon a time home to the Duke of Wellington after his victory over Napoleon at Waterloo.  The interior of the house has changed very little since the days of the Iron Duke.
