Healthy eating in Mayfair

If you’re still sticking to your guns with your New Year’s resolution, congratulations. You’re over the first hurdle. Fortunately there are some great Mayfair restaurants to help you keep your clean, lean regime on track…

Umu.

Umu is a Japanese restaurant located on Bruton Place. Which serves up delicious sushi and sashimi which showcases a whole host of different flavours. Sushi is low in fat and fish is packed with heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids. You can eat a large portion and still gain health benefits instead of pounds.

42° Raw.

When 42° Raw opened in Burlington Gardens last year. It brought a whole new method of food preparation with it. All of the food in this revolutionary café is (as the name suggests) raw. Although their menu may look like it’s filled with classic dishes like lasagne and tapas. It’s actually a delicious and much healthier alternative. The Thai noodles with carrot and zucchini and organic chia-cacao pudding are both must-trys!

Pizza Express Mayfair.

Yes, we know, having a pizza restaurant on a healthy eating list just seems wrong. Thanks to Pizza Express’ Leggera range, you can have your pizza and eat it too. These pizza rings are crammed with toppings of your choosing. They filled with fresh, crunchy salad, and the whole plate comes in at just 500 calories. They even make a tasty raspberry sorbet if you fancy a pudding.
