A new pizza parlour for Mayfair

James Robson, the owner of successful local brasserie Mews of Mayfair, has taken over popular restaurant Rocket on Lancashire Court and transformed it into a contemporary pizza parlour. The new offering, which has been renamed as Mayfair Pizza Co., will be serving up a range of delicious dishes for Mayfair based patrons to enjoy, themed around the style of cuisine that previous outlet Rocket was renowned for.

“Rocket was very popular for its pizza and it seemed sensible to carry on its legacy,” James explained, and his menu reflects this – visitors to the new establishment can expect to find old favourites like mozzarella, tomato and basil and spicy sausage alongside more unusual concoctions like pancetta and goats cheese, and the signature Bianca pizza, which features truffle and porcini mushrooms.

However, for people who aren’t big fans of pizza, there are still plenty of other options to enjoy at the Mayfair Pizza Co. From the chef’s salad with dolcelatte, pears and aubergine caponata, to the baked cod fillet with almond crust and zucchini, the fresh, seasonal produce on the creative restaurant menu will please even the fussiest of eaters. Why not pay a visit to Lancashire Court and try this new Mayfair dining experience for yourself?
